Police: Four men arrested after Delaware shooting
NEW CASTLE, Del. (WTXF) - Police have arrested four men who they say were involved in a shooting in the New Castle, Delaware development of Rambleton Acres.
Officials say the shooting occurred back on June 13 when police were dispatched to the intersection of Rambleton Drive and Rambo Terrace. While at the scene, police discovered a 20-year-old male and 19-year-old female who were both shot. Officials transported them to an area hospital. Both have been treated and released from the hospital.
Investigators found and identified four suspects after looking through local surveillance. They identified them as 20-year-old Daquan Hammond, 20-year-old Evan Dayton, 23-year-old Jarryd Blankenbiller and 21-year-old George Lomas. New Castle County Police announced their arrest on Thursday.
Police say the four men will be charged with two counts of felony assaults in the first degree and other related offences. All four are being held at Howard Young Correctional Institution in lieu of $188,000 cash bail.
