Police investigate a double shooting in North Philadelphia

Police in Philadelphia are investigating a double shooting that injured two men.

Police say they were investigating reports of gunshots on December 27, about 10:15 p.m. at Fox and Allegheny Avenue. Two men pulled up next to the officers and reportedly told them they had been shot at 30th and Clementine Streets.

The victims were transported to Temple University Hospital. Both had gunshot wounds to their right legs.

According to investigators, the men were on their way to see a friend on North 30th Street. They were waiting for their friend outside the dwelling when an unknown male approached them and began shooting.

The victims are listed in stable condition.

The investigation is on-going.
