Police investigating double homicide of Norristown High School grad, baby daughter in Virginia

GALAX, VA - Police in Galax, Virginia are investigating the double murder of a woman and her baby daughter who were found dead inside a home on Thursday, according to FOX 8.

According to the news outlet, the victims were identified as 28-year-old Alyssa Kenny and 21-month-old Anastasia Alley.

FOX 8 reports that police were called to the home just before noon on Thursday after they received information that a deceased person was seen inside.

Authorities are investigating the incident as a double homicide. The official cause of death is pending until an autopsy is performed.

Kenny was a Norristown Area High School alum and former cheerleader. Her family has set up a GoFundMe page for funeral expenses.
