Police Looking to Identify Bustleton Assault Suspect, Release Video of Violent Attack

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Police have released surveillance footage of a brutal and violent attack in Northeast Philadelphia in hopes of tracking down the suspect.

We want to warn you, the video is graphic.

Police say an unidentified white male approached another man, punched him and knocked him to the ground.

The attack didn't stop there, as the suspect kept beating and kicking the 52-year-old victim as he lay on the ground.

The incident happened last Saturday, in front of Benny the Bums Bar, on the 9900 block of Bustleton Avenue.

The suspect and a woman he was with fled the scene.

The victim was taken to the hospital where he was treated for injuries to his head.

The suspect has been described as a white male in his 30s, standing roughly 5'10", 180 lbs. with a muscular build.
