Police officer recovering from overnight crash

KENSINGTON (WTXF) - A police officer had to be sent to the hospital to be checked out after an overnight crash.

Authorities say he was on patrol in Kensington when his patrol car was hit.

It happened at about 2am along N. Front and Tuscalum streets.

You can see his airbag was deployed.

The officer is expected to be OK.
