Police search for suspects in drive-thru robbery

Frankford - Philadelphia police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at a Dunkin Donuts drive-thru.

The incident occurred at 4:17 A.M.. Tuesday morning at the Dunkin Donuts located on 1820 Torresdale Ave.

According to police, a 26-year-old female employee was working the drive-thru window when an unknown Hispanic female in a white SUV ordered an iced coffee.

The car pulled up to the window and the suspect demanded the money from inside the cash register while threatening to shoot the employee.

The employee then noticed an unknown person in the backseat, armed with a handgun, and gave the suspect an unknown amount of money from the cash register.

No injuries were reported from the incident.
