Police Seek Suspect in Hatfield Township Wawa Robbery

Hatfield, Pa. (WTXF) Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Wawa store located on the 2400 block of Bethlehem Pike in Hatfield Township.

Police say on Sunday, October 25 th shortly after 4 a.m. the suspect entered the store and obtained a cup of coffee, a container of milk and walked to the register where he requested a carton of cigarettes. As the cashier was ringing up the sale, the suspect allegedly displayed a handgun and demanded the cash from the register, according to investigators.

Police say the suspect fled the store with the money and merchandise in a southerly direction towards a dark colored unknown make vehicle which was parked along the southbound shoulder of Bethlehem Pike with its hazards lights activated.

Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic male, early to mid-30's, approximately 5' 5" - 5' 8" tall. He was seen on surveillance video wearing a black short sleeve shirt, dark colored cargo style pants, black knit cap, black footwear and was wearing a silver watch on his left wrist.
