Search continues for 4 suspects in East Germantown carjacking
PHILADELPHIA (FOX 29) - Police are continuing to search for four men in connection with an armed carjacking in East Germantown.
Meanwhile, a young boy and an adult passenger were found safe after police say the suspects drove off with them still inside the car.
The incident occurred around 5 p.m. Wednesday on the 7500 block of East Tulpehocken Street.
According to police, four men approached a vehicle at gunpoint with a 6-year-old boy inside. A 36-year-old man was ordered out of the SUV and the suspects drove off with the little boy and another adult passenger inside.

Investigators say the suspects dropped off the 6-year-old and the passenger at West Cheltenham Avenue and Mayland Road where police say they were able to safely walk home and contact police.
The SUV was also recovered late Wednesday night.
Police believe the suspects may now be traveling in a burgundy Chrysler 300.
