Shooting in Frankford critically injures one

Police in the Frankford section are investigating a shooting that has left one man in critical condition.

According to investigators, a 31-year-old man was standing outside of a business on the 4600 block of Frankford Avenue Sunday just after 9 p.m. when he was approached by two men.

Police say the man was shot three times in the leg and once in the abdomen. The man was transported to Temple University Hospital and place in critical condition.

Investigators say the shooter was a heavyset man who was wearing a black ski mask and black hoodie, at the time of the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made and no weapon has been recovered.
