Suspect sought in armed robbery of woman at King of Prussia mall

Police are investigating after a woman shopping at the King of Prussia Mall was robbed Saturday afternoon.

A man allegedly robbed the woman just after 3:30 p.m. in the Green Deck parking garage, displaying a small, semi-automatic handgun and demanding the woman's purse.

The suspect then reportedly fled the parking garage, getting into a maroon Kia, possibly a Kia Sportage, per officials.

The burglary suspect is described as a light-skinned black man between 30 and 40 years of age. He is described as tall with a medium build. Police say he was clean shaven and well-dressed, wearing a black jacket and dress slacks. The suspect has a square-shaped face with a big forehead and rotting top teeth. Authorities say he has a medium cropped box type haircut.

Police say the suspect was last seen driving near the Seasons 52 exit, traveling north on North Gulph Road.
