Teen assaulted by juveniles at Spring Garden SEPTA station: officials
PHILADELPHIA - A 15-year-old was attacked by other juveniles at the Spring Garden Station on SEPTA’s Broad Street Line.
SEPTA confirmed Philadelphia police are leading the investigation into the incident.

Philadelphia police are investigating after a 15-year-old was attacked at SEPTA’s Spring Garden Station.
Timeline:
A spokesperson for SEPTA says the attack occurred on Wednesday around 3:30 p.m.
Responding officers found the victim "dazed and confused" after he was assaulted by five juveniles.
Big picture view:
The victim suffered lacerations to his face and a possible concussion. He was initially taken to Jefferson Hospital, but was then transferred to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia because of bleeding on the brain.
What we don't know:
Officials did not release a condition of the victim.
What's next:
Investigators say there is surveillance video of the assault and three of the five juvenile suspects have been identified.
Police believe the suspects attempted to steal the victim’s headphones, but he resisted and they attacked him.
