Thousands take part in 2018 Parkway Run and Walk

CENTER CITY (WTXF) - Thousands participated in the 2018 Parkway Run and Walk in Center City Sunday, which coincided with the last day of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

The Parkway Run and Walk is the largest annual fundraiser for the Cancer Center at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Each year, thousands of walkers and runners meet on Benjamin Franklin Parkway with signs and t-shirts dedicated to children in the community with cancer.
