VIDEO: Mother fights off man trying to steal car with child inside

BREMERTON, WA (WTXF) - Dramatic video shows a mother taking on a man who attempted to steal her car with her two-year-old child still inside.

The dramatic moments were captured on surveillance cameras back on Wednesday in Bremerton, Washington.

Police say the woman was opening the bed cover to her truck when the 24-year-old suspect ran up and jumped into her vehicle.

At that time, the woman runs around to the open driver's side door and confronts the suspect.

The two struggle as the suspect throws the car in drive and then reverse before rolling it up into a nearby yard.

Video then shows the suspect getting out of the car and running down the street before he was later caught by police.
