Woman, 58, killed in Society Hill apartment fire
PHILADELPHIA - A 58-year-old woman has died following an apartment fire in Society Hill.
The fire broke out around 9:30 a.m. on the 700 block of Lombard Street.
Responding crews found the victim unresponsive inside with burns to her body. She was pronounced dead just before 10 a.m.
Police have yet to identify the deceased.
