Woman accused of killing former landlord, another woman in West Norriton Twp.

Authorities say a woman has been charged with killing a former landlord and another woman in a West Norriton Township.

Two bouquets of flowers placed outside this home on West Indian Lane in West Norriton Township where two women were found dead police say three days after they were killed.

SkyFOX flew over the 3-story home Monday. One of the victims owned it and rented the upper floors.

"She was like a second mom to me. She did anything to help everybody out," said Brittany Sheridan. She's a tenant and didn't want to talk about what happened but says her landlord 78-year-old Lila Frost loved her family and enjoyed traveling.

"Lila was one of the nicest people you'd ever meet. She'd give you the shirt off her back," said Sheridan.

Investigators say Sunday another tenant called police to do a wellness check concerned when he saw someone he didn't recognize going into the first-floor apartment. That resident said he also hadn't seen Frost in several days although her car was still outside. Police say they found Frost dead in an empty bathtub and her 68-year-old friend Lorraine Gigliello dead under a kitchen table.

In a shocking and bizarre twist, investigators said during a press conference Monday, the suspect 43-year-old Naseema Sami and her 6-year old son were hiding under a bed.

"The defendant had been a tenant 20 years ago. The defendant returned on Thursday, March 7 looking for Frost who offered to help her if she ever needed anything," said Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele.

Investigators say the suspect killed Gigliello who came in the house first, recognized her and threatened to call police, then killed Frost when she arrived later.

"We're all grieving. I mean the texts and phone calls that have been going back all day we're sick about it. We're horrified," said Kara Harvey. She and her husband George walked by the house Monday evening, sad over the loss of their dear friends.

"Lila was a very nice woman. She came to many parties at our houses and she was just fun and you'd never know she was 78 years old. She was young at heart," said George.

Investigators say when they got there the suspect was barricaded inside the home with furniture blocking the entrances and had tried to clean up the murder scene. They say her young son was there the entire time and also told them what happened.

The suspect got into the home through an unlocked back door. She's being held without bail.

No motive released yet.
