Woman charged in hit and run that killed boy, 5

Authorities have charged a woman in a hit and run left a five-year-old Philadelphia boy dead late last month.

Anisa Thompson, has been charged with homicide by vehicle, involuntary manslaughter and fleeing the scene of an accident where death resulted in the June 22 incident.

The incident took place on the 5000 block of Irving Street just after 4 p.m. Friday when a green sedan struck Xavier Moy and fled the scene.

Xavier was transported to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

The District Attorney's Office says they will request Thompson's bail be set at $500,000.
