Cheyenne Corin
Cheyenne Corin joined the FOX 29 News team in March, 2023, as a general assignment reporter.
Cheyenne also is a reporter at WTOP News in Washington, DC. Prior to joining FOX 29, she was a bureau reporter in Montgomery County, MD, at WDVM/DC News Now and Entertainment Correspondent for The Jasmine Brand.
Cheyenne’s career has come full circle, as she started on-air as an intern and junior reporter on Fox 29 as a college student. She then served as a production coordinator and fill-in reporter for WPHL 17 across town in Philadelphia.
Throughout her career, Cheyenne has covered events like the BLM protests following George Floyd’s death; Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade ruling; Silver Spring and Gaithersburg building explosions; the suicide deaths of officers following January 6th; and the Van Ness sniper shooting. She also covered the 2020 Democratic New Hampshire Primary.
The Philadelphia native was born in West Oak Lane, raised in Montgomery County, and graduated from North Penn High School in Lansdale, PA. Cheyenne then graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Women and Gender Studies. She also attended Temple University and earned her Master’s of Journalism from the Klein College of Media and Communication.
Cheyenne is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists, NAACP, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Lupus Foundation Ambassador, and Board Member of the Influencing Action Movement organization dedicated to mentoring students in Philadelphia. She also overcame a childhood speech impediment and is a public speaker motivating those who struggle to find their voice.
In her free time, Cheyenne loves to travel, play soccer, try new restaurants, and be an auntie!
