Phillies announce 2017 coaching staff decisions

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - The Philadelphia Phillies have announced their coaching staff decisions for the 2017 season.

According to a Phillies press release, the team invited six of the team's seven major league coaches to return.

Larry Bowa (bench), Rick Kranitz (bullpen), Bob McClure (pitching), John McLaren (catching), Mickey Morandini (first base) and Juan Samuel (third base) have all been asked to return.

Steve Henderson (hitting) will not have his contract renewed.
