While our area did not wake up to wind chills as low as the negative 30s like Chicago, we did wake up with wind chills as low as negative 8 degrees.
Don't expect those wind chills to improve much Thursday as they're only expected to reach single digits later in the day.
The forecasted high for Thursday is just 18 degrees.
Friday isn't expected to bring much relief with a high of just 23 degrees before we get back near the 40s on Saturday.
