Weather Authority: Chance of showers storms through Thursday

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Thursday got off to a beautiful start, but there's rain in the forecast that's expected to put a damper on things later on in the day.

Remnants of Hurricane Irma will finally make their way to our area, bringing showers to the area on and off through the day.

Temperatures should reach about 80 degrees today with a chance of showers and storms.

As we head into the last week of summer, temperatures will hover around the mid to low 80s through the next several days.

Friday: High of 82, chance of showers

Saturday: High of 83, sun shower possible

Sunday: High of 83, mostly sunny

Monday: High of 80, mostly sunny

Tuesday: High of 78, partly sunny
