Weather Authority: Winter weather on the way this weekend

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A dose of winter weather is scheduled to impact the Delaware Valley over the weekend.

Temperatures will hold in the mid-to-high 30's, with lows bottoming out around the low-20's. Although a mix of wind and overcast skies could make it feel much colder than the thermometers will read.

The frigid temperatures will help usher in a snowstorm on Saturday afternoon, which will continue through Sunday morning.

Here's a closer look at the weekend weather:

Friday: Sunny and cold. High of 34, low of 24.

Saturday: Afternoon snow. High of 32, low of 22.

Sunday: Snow showers. High of 33, low of 37.
