2 men broke into home, attacked sleeping woman for money
Two men broke into a sleeping woman's home to rob her and now police released pictures of the suspects and their getaway car.
Philadelphia police say the attack happened back on April 21 in the 100 block of E. Herman Street in W. Oak Lane.
The victim was asleep on the second floor at about 10am. That's when one of the men grabbed her, asking "Where's the money? Where's it at?" while the second ransacked the room looking for money.
They took some money and got away in what police are calling "an older model white Nissan Maxima-style sedan with a black driver's door and a black front bumper," with damage to the passenger side front fender.
They were last seen traveling south on Baynton Street and then west on Walnut Lane.
The victim suffered minor injuries.
One of the attackers is described as in his 20s, 5'8" tall, with a stocky build, dark complexion, short hair, a beard, and wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt.
The other is also in his 20s and 5'8" tall, with short hair and wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt. He had a medium build and a medium brown complexion.
If you think you see either of them, police ask you to call 215-686-TIPS (8477), or text your tip to PPDTIP (773847).
