2 suspects arrested in violent Fishtown robbery, 2 others at large

Two people have been taken into custody after a violent robbery in Philadelphia's Fishtown neighborhood last month.

Ryan Miller, 19, and a 17-year-old boy were taken into custody last week in connection with the August 27 incident. Both are facing a number of charges including robbery, aggravated assault, criminal conspiracy, and related offenses.

Around 10 p.m. on the night of the incident, police say the victim was walking down the 1600 block of East Berks Street when he was approached by three unknown men and an unknown woman. Surveillance video of the incident shows the suspects walk up from behind, punched him in the head and knocked him to the ground.

Police say the victim attempted to flee, but the suspects ultimately caught up with him, attacking him again. The female suspect reportedly took the victim's wallet and a Samsung phone before the group of suspects fled the area.

Police are still looking for two suspects. They've been described by police as a black female between the ages of 19 and 23, as well as a black male with a medium build.
