PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Monday will be the final day of business for three Philadelphia area J.C. Penney stores.
The department stores in King of Prussia, Philadelphia Mills, and Willow Grove Park mall will all close for good at the end of business today.
All together, the closures will affect about 5,000 jobs.
The three local stores are among 138 J.C. Penney stores closing nationwide.
The company has previously pointed to online shopping as part of the reason for the closures.
