5-year-old girl killed in fall from 4th-floor window identified
ALLENTOWN, Pa. (FOX 29) - Authorities have released the name of a 5-year-old girl who died after falling from a fourth-floor apartment window in Allentown.
The Lehigh County coroner's office says Ahnelly Grace Rivera was pronounced dead at 7:41 p.m. Tuesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest.
Officials said she died of blunt force head injuries after the 6:40 p.m. Tuesday fall on the 1400 block of Hamilton Street. Her death was ruled accidental.
Reginald Wills says he was dropping off his son at the Livingston Apartments when the accident occurred.
"Everybody was in chaos. The police came and then a third-floor lady tried to resuscitate the little girl and the cop came and scooped her up," he explained.
Authorities haven't disclosed any details about the circumstances of the fall. Allentown police and the coroner's office are investigating.
