Ariana Grande's new Japanese tattoo translates to 'charcoal grill'

PHILADELPHIA (FOX 29) - Ariana Grande's most recent tattoo got lost in translation and instead of reading "7 Rings" inspired by her latest single, it actually says something completely different.

The tattoo, created by artist Kane Navasard, actually translates to "shichirin." In the Japanese language, "shichirin" actually is a small barbecue grill.

The 25-year-old single revealed the new tattoo via Instagram on Tuesday night, according to Page Six.

Ariana has since deleted the Instagram post showcasing her newest tattoo after fans flooded the comment section to make her aware of the misspelling.

Ariana Grande has nearly 50 tattoos, Page Six says so this little gaffe won't stand out too much.

The singer has since attempted to fix the tattoo.
