Arrest Made in Multiple Burglaries

An arrest has been made in the series of seven commercial burglaries that took place in the city in the last week of November.

Philadelphia Police said that Steven Glemser, 45, has been arrested and charged with multiple commercial burglaries and related offenses.

Accused of the seven robberies, all of which involved the assailant throwing a rock through a front windows, Glemser is accused of robbing a Little Caesar's Pizza, a Suburban Pharmacy, a gas station, a Chinese restaurant, a Super Cuts barbershop and other locations.

Police say they caught Glemser Dec. 5 when "officers observed a male fitting the description of a suspect possibly involved in multiple burglaries in the northeast section of the city of Philadelphia." After his arrest Glemser was found to have a warrant for his arrest for an additional count of burglary.
