Brazen robber makes away with $120,000 from New Orleans Walmart

NEW ORLEANS, LA -- Surveillance video shows a bold armed robbery at a New Orleans Walmart.

The incident took place shortly before 5 o'clock Thursday morning. The suspect is seen pushing a female employee into the back office of the store at gunpoint.

He then demands that she stuff his bag full of the contents of the store safe.

Afterwards, he walks out of the store, his bag filled with $120,000 in cash.

"At 4 o'clock in the morning, someone should have said who are you, good morning or noticed his face or something. With that situation, I don't know what to say," said customer Sherry Cowart.

"Right now, with all the robbing and killing going on, it's just sad and they need to stop."

"They always wake up early in the morning with what, stealing on their mind. It's getting harder to do business in New Orleans because it getting to be too much crime," Curtis Harper, another customer, said.

"They're getting to the point to where they don't care. Some of these things, I don't know how they come up with," said Laura Sykes, another customer.

"That's unbelievable. I mean people doing anything now, anything and everything, these days."

The suspect could be seen climbing into the passenger's seat of a gold-colored vehicle, and then driving away.
