Bullets found in locker at Edison High School

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Thomas Edison High School in Philadelphia's Hunting Park neighborhood was placed on lockdown early Wednesday afternoon, according to police.

Police say bullets were discovered inside a locker at the school at 2 nd and Luzerne Streets.

The lockdown was called in at 12:50 p.m. Wednesday.

No weapon was found, but police say they are following safety protocols to make sure school grounds are cleared.
