Camden County honors local veterans

Camden County, New Jersey honored their veterans Saturday, March 10, in their annual prayer breakfast.

The Freeholder Board of Camden County honors veterans from all branches of service. Veterans attend the breakfast and service with their spouses, children and grandchildren. The event was held at Chews United Methodist Church.

"Each year, this breakfast brings our veterans community together to nourish our bodies and souls," said Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo. "This annual event pays tribute to our fallen heroes through food and fellowship with those that will never forget the sacrifice they made."

Camden County is home to more than 33,000 veterans.
