Caught on Camera: Man smashes car windows in North Philly

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (FOX 29) - Nearly 30 cars on and around the 1800 block of West Tioga to the 1900 block of Westmoreland were hit overnight Wednesday by a man using an emergency escape, shatter-proof hammer.

You see the culprit at work captured on surveillance video from the 18th Street Food Market.

Police gathered possible evidence Wednesday from the vehicles what little there may be. As to how much the thief got away with? Likely far less than the cost of the damage.
