Closing time argument leads to shootout, man killed

One man is dead after a shootout after a neighborhood tavern closed, overnight.

FOX 29's Steve Keeley reports from the scene there were at least three gunmen, and several persons of interest are in custody.

Police told him officers heard gunshots at about 2:30am near the corner of Wayne and West Chelten avenues, and got to the scene right away. There had been an argument after Victor's Tavern closed.

They found the victim, 25, unconscious in the parking lot with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was also grazed twice on his head and pronounced dead at the hospital.

Now, his baseball cap lies on the ground, along with evidence markers.

Police watched surveillance video taken inside. They told Keeley they saw the victim moments before the shooting and also the persons of interest.

One of those persons' cars is in the parking lot, apparently with a gun inside. Right now, police are waiting for a search warrant.
