Construction material outside NY hospital catches fire

Construction materials outside the NYU Medical Center on Manhattan's east side caught fire and New York Fire Department crews are working to put it out.

According to FOX station WNYW, patients and employees inside the building near First Avenue and 34th Street were moved away from any possibility of smoke coming in.

No injuries have been reported.

WNYW reports the two-alarm fire was declared under control before 1pm.
