Crews battle house fire in Montgomery County

Authorities in Abington are investigating the cause of a house fire that happened early Sunday morning.

It started around 5 a.m. and the bulk of the fire was knocked down by 6 a.m., according to officials.

Police say they did rescue two people from inside the home on the 2600 block of Lamott Avenue, but one person was taken to the hospital.

Their condition is unknown at this time.
