Crews battle row home fire in West Philly

Crews were on the scene of a house fire Tuesday morning in West Philadelphia.

The fire broke out in a two-story row home around 2:30 a.m. on the 5700 block of Hazel Avenue.

Firefighters were able to get the flames under control within 40 minutes. No injuries were reported.

An adjacent row home sustained some damage. Officials say two families are displaced as a result of the fire.

The Red Paw Emergency Relief team also assisted in the rescue of one dog and two cats.
