Deadly Kensington rowhome fire now considered arson
KENSINGTON (WTXF) - The late night fire in which one person was found dead and two others were injured, including a firefighter, is now considered arson.
Homicide detectives are at the Kensington rowhome in the 1800 block of E. Clementine Street. Investigators from L&I, and even the ATF were there until early Tuesday morning.
Police say the body found inside was a 28-year-old, but they have not yet released a name.
One of the survivors had jumped from a second story window.
The firefighter was taken to another hospital for evaluation.
The fire broke out before 11 p.m. Monday.
Crews needed an hour to get the flames under control.
