Dogs left for dead in trashed suitcase

FULTON COUNTY, GA (FOX 5 WAGA)- Fulton County Animal Services is looking for the person who stuffed eight puppies in a suitcase and left them for dead.

An animal enforcement officer found the puppies zipped-up in the suitcase outside an apartment complex dumpster on Conley Road. Only one was still alive.

Officers named the survivor Skip in honor of Marietta Marine Skip Wells who was killed in Chattanooga.

That puppy struggled to live for a few hours before he died.

Authorities have offered a $25,000 award for information leading to an arrest.
