Fans pour into Lincoln Financial Field to watch the Eagles practice
PHILADELPHIA, P.a. (WTXF) - Fans poured into Lincoln Financial Field Sunday night to see the 2018 Super Bowl Champions practice.
Some fans couldn't wait for the season to get a look at the team. Twin brothers from Woodstown, NJ waited hours to get front row seats.
"We're coming off the best season in Eagles history, man. It's amazing. The atmosphere, there's nothing like it," said Tyler Bedilion.
Marylyn Shirk is also a super fan. Speaking with a newborn in her arms she said, "His brother named him Carson. As soon as we found out we were having a boy, I had no choice."
Before last season, FOX 29 interviewed Eagles fan Kelly Cross at the NFL draft, and she told us the Eagles would win it all. Well, FOX 29's Brad Sattin ran into her again tonight. Is that good karma, or what?
"I think we're going for a repeat," said Cross.
Lots of believers at the 'Linc' on Sunday night. Even former players on the team.
"You can feel it in the atmosphere. You know, it's time. It's a great time for Eagles fans. And we got a lot to look forward to," said former Eagles player William Thomas.
Starting tonight, with huge crowds watching Eagles training camp. Seeing the owner, the drills, the star quarterback, and hoping to experience the magic again.
As a former Philly star once put it, it's just practice, but on this night, that's plenty.
