FBI and PPD searching for attempted robbery suspect in Juniata

The PPD and the FBI are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating the person behind an attempted robbery at a bank in Juniata.

The incident occurred on August 16 at the PNC Bank branch located at 1001 East Erie Avenue.

According to officials, at 1:00 p.m. the suspect entered the bank, approached the counter, and showed a note demanding more to a teller.

Soon after, the suspect fled the bank empty-handed.

She is described as a black or Hispanic female in her late 39s to early 40s, approximately 5'0" tall, medium to heavy build, dark complexion, with back hair worn in a bushy ponytail and a piercing above the right side of her upper lip.

She was wearing a bright pink short-sleeve top, dark sunglasses, and a black or brown cross-body purse.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
