Former DA Seth Williams moved to Oklahoma transfer facility
(WTXF/AP) - Philadelphia's former top prosecutor is awaiting to find out where he will serve his five-year sentence for accepting a bribe.
Last week, Williams was moved to a central location transfer facility in Oklahoma City. Williams will remain there until its decided where he will serve his sentence.
At his Oct. 24 sentencing, a federal judge said Seth Williams sold his office to "parasites" and ordered Williams jailed immediately.
Williams, a graduate of Georgetown Law School, was the city's first black district attorney. He spent years as an assistant prosecutor and became the city's inspector general, tasked with rooting out corruption, before first winning office in 2009.
