Good Samaritans Subdue Robbery Suspect Armed With Boxcutter
FAIRLESS HILLS, PA (WTXF) - A group of good Samaritans were caught on video as they subdued an alleged armed robber in Bucks County.
The incident occurred round 11:17 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot of the Queen Anne Shopping Center in Fairless Hills.
Police say a woman was getting out of her car, and reached back into her car to get her purse. That's when a man came up behind her and pushed her back into the car.
The 60-year-old suspect slashed her with a box cutter, as he attempted to take the woman's purse.
A group of good Samaritans spotted the incident, and apprehended the male suspect, disarming the man and pinning him down in a snow bank until police arrived. Cell phone video captured their actions.

Police say the man is being held at Bristol Township Police Headquarters, where he is facing felony charges.
The female victim sustained minor cuts on her face.
