High-rise fire that caused evacuations out, under investigation

CENTER CITY (WTXF) - People in a Center City high-rise had a rude wakeup call but everyone is safe after an overnight fire.

Crews were called to the building at 24th and Locust streets at about 1:30am.

Everyone had to be evacuated and the fire was put under control in about 30 minutes.

The cause is under investigation.
