Hilarious photo of boy terrified on rollercoaster goes viral

(WTXF/STORYFUL) - A hilarious photo of a father and son "enjoying" a rollercoaster ride together has gone viral.

Chris Rand can be seen in the photo smiling with one hand in the air, but his son Clark isn't so pleased.

Clark is seen gripping the guard on his seat with a terrified expression on his face.

Rand wrote, "Clark was very excited to ride a roller coaster like a big boy, until the first drop."

The two were riding the Zippin Pippin, one of the oldest wooden rollercoasters in the United States located at the Bay Beach Amusement Park in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Rand also wrote, "The first drop on the Zippin Pippin is called the 'monkey face', for good reason."

He said on Reddit that he recorded the ride using a GoPro and the image uploaded to Imgur is a video still.

"I didn't have the heart to post the video," he wrote about the video.

The photo has been viewed more than 1.7 million times on Imgur.
