LA to Philly flight diverted due to disruptive passenger on board

The passengers finally arrived to Philadelphia about 7 hours late. Many were very happy to be back on the ground. FOX 29 spoke with the two men who helped the flight crew subdue the man. Other passengers are calling them heroes.

"We got duct tape and handcuffs and we had to hold the guy in his seat and told him if you move we're going to duct tape you together so we diverted to Phoenix and got rushed by Phoenix police when we landed," said passenger Chip Yates.

"The poor guy needs help. But he scared the hell out of everybody. That's fair to say. We didn't know at first if he had somebody with him and he was very hostile to people with money," said passenger Bill Shaw.
