Local chef gets 20 years for conspiracy to sexually exploit children
CAMDEN, N.J. (WTXF) - A Collingswood, New Jersey, man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for conspiring with his former girlfriend to produce sexually explicit images of children.
Alexander Capasso, 44, previously pleaded guilty to conspiring with 36-year-old Janine Kelley, of Audubon, New Jersey, to sexually exploit children.
Capasso has been in federal custody since his July 2015 arrest.

Before his arrest, Capasso was part owner of the popular Rittenhouse restaurant Crow and the Pitcher, now called Baril.
According to legal filings, Capasso began a sexual relationship with Kelley in 2010. During that time, Capasso took, or allowed Kelley to take, recorded images of Capasso engaged in sexually explicit conduct with a child. Capasso also took, or allowed Kelley to take, recorded images of Kelley engaged in sexually explicit conduct with two children.
In addition to the prison term, Judge Simandle sentenced Capasso to a lifetime of supervised release.
Kelley has also pleaded guilty to her role in the conspiracy and will be sentenced Friday, January 19.
