Night of shootings across Philadelphia leaves 2 dead, 4 injured

A violent night of shootings around Philadelphia left two people dead and four others wounded.

Police say the first shooting happened in South Philadelphia at 7 p.m. Tuesday when two men entered a Chinese restaurant and shot a 23-year-old man in the face as he ordered food. He died after being transported to the hospital.

The second shooting happened less than an hour later in West Oak Lane, critically injuring a 19-year-old man.

The other deadly shooting happened just before 9 p.m. in North Philadelphia, where a 25-year-old man was hit in the head and chest when a gunman opened fire on the street.

Around 10 p.m., two men were shot on the 5200 block of West Girard Avenue in West Philadelphia and are in stable condition.

The final shooting happened in Tioga around 11:15 p.m when a 36-year-old man was shot in the torso on the 3600 block of North 17th Street He's in stable condition.
