Man found shot in stomach in Olney

Police in Philadelphia's Olney neighborhood are investigating a shooting early Sunday morning.

Officers responded to the scene along the 200 block of West Nedro Avenue around 2:00 a.m.

When officers arrived on scene they discovered a 22-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach.

The victim told police he was standing on the sidewalk when he was hit, and said he did not see the gunman.

The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

No arrests have been made.
