Man hit by SEPTA train in North Philadelphia expected to survive
NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Officials say a man is expected to survive after he was hit by a SEPTA train Tuesday night in North Philadelphia.
According to SEPTA an out of service train struck a pedestrian as it was heading into the yard near Westmoreland Avenue. The man was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
SEPTA service was not affected by this incident.
