Man robs Cherry Hill bank, police ask for public's help in identifying him
CHERRY HILL (WTXF) - Cherry Hill Police are searching for a man who robbed a bank Thursday morning.
According to a press release, the man entered the Republic Bank at 399 E. Route 70 around 8:30 a.m.
He reportedly passed a demand note to a teller and fled on foot after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapon was displayed and no one was injured.
The man is described as a black male who stands just under 6' tall and has a large build.
He was wearing tan-colored pants, a dark-colored hoodie sweatshirt (possibly black), and a two-toned wool hat (possibly gray and black) with the words "ZOO YORK" on the front.
