Man shot, killed execution-style overnight

COBBS CREEK (WTXF) - A man in his 20s was killed overnight after police say he was shot at least four times, including once execution-style.

The violence happened just after midnight behind a Cobbs Creek furniture store, near the intersection of 55th and Sansom streets.

The victim was found bleeding from his head, where he'd been hit. He was also shot in his legs.

He was taken to the hospital but pronounced dead, a short time later.

Now, police are combing through surveillance video from the furniture store and nearby homes, trying to identify and catch the killer.

The victim's name has not been released.
